Sea Dog

A spot of primal pouncing at the sea-side.

Bonny Blue

Superbly beautiful Blue Fairy Wren boy bird.

My Old Friends

Loads of New Holland Eaters hanging out at Apollo Bay – just doing their thing.

It's a Hard Gull's Life

Muddy Mouthfull

So industrious.

Swallows were also seen as a Goddess symbol.
This little Goddess was quite the home-maker.

Warm Welcomers

Swallows were known as 'Birds of Heaven' and it was believed they represented lost souls made flesh. They were thought to protect people during Spring, Summer and Autumn – then they would return to heaven during Winter. Not a bad gig if you could get it!

These ones sure were busy little souls, swooping, darting and collecting for the nest.
